The real injustice of the Nobel peace prize

I did not want this post to be political.

I had planed on contemplating the enjoyment and pleasure of a good Cigar versus the fulfillment and satisfaction of a large meal of comfort food like a good homemade Mac & cheese or the subtle thoughts one has after a morning spent in a misty Rain forest watching nature as the sun slowly dissipates the mist and warms the forest floor.

But unfortunately the Awarding of the Nobel peace prize to our president dear leader Obama has abruptly torn me away from my day dreams of Misty rainforests, Cigars and Mac & Cheese.
My first thought was why?
My seconded thought was whatever more politics so what.
Then I began to contemplate the universe, Right and wrong, Karma and all the deep thoughts normally reserved for day dreams or inhalation of certain substances I have not partaken of since my adolescence.

Why did he get the award? Did he bring peace to the Middle East? Did he use his standing as the first Black president to reduce the epidemic of Black on Black crime in our inner cities? Including his home town of Chicago?
Better yet did he quit toting himself as the first Black president and instead pronounce himself as what he truly is the first mixed race President and use that to truly bring about a post racial America?
Did he halt the Genocide in Darfur? Bring us out of recession? Help any one besides his political cronies? The more I thought about it the more I could not point to any major accomplishment let alone something worthy of being awarded the Nobel peace prize.

So He got the award based on his celebrity or adoration of left leaning intellectuals so what.
There is a bigger injustice here and a bigger story. Who did not get the medal?

Seema Samar was the odds on favorite to win the prize. She has risked her life fighting for woman’s rights in Afghanistan in defiance of the Taliban.
Another favorite to win was Hu Jia a Chinese human rights activist who has actually been jailed for speaking out.

If Obama wants to accept the award fine take the medal but at least give the monetary part a whopping 1.4 million dollars to the people who could really use it and should have got it to begin with. That is the real injustice here think of how much more good these people could have done with that money.
Think about how much more awareness there would be for there causes world wide.Instead they give it to a politician who has done nothing yet to deserve it. What a waste of such a great award.

But what do I know for I am but a simple man in a complex universe. Now back to good Cigars versus Mac & cheese something I can understand

You may be a Red Neck Angry Racist Tea bagger if...

Since attending a couple of Tea parties and overall becoming more active I have noticed a disturbing trend.

Politicians and celebrities who oppose the Tea party movement have taken to calling us names.

The biggest one of course is racist! When you can’t win a debate or convince the other side they are wrong just call them a racist or some other name to shut them up.
What’s really disturbing is how politicians and celebrity's can come up with these names and then there little kool aid drinking followers copy them and turn against there fellow Americans who are doing nothings more then exercising there right to protest.

I have news fellow Americans WE are not the enemy! They are!
They just want power and influence and you are the tool they use to retain it.Dividing us against each other is exactly what they want.
They fear the Tea Party movement because we are all coming together to expose them for what they are.

They will call us names and give us labels to marginalize us and silence us because they can not win the argument.
I say lets own these names and take pride in them show them that they can not shut us up and if they want to win this debate they have do it on the merits of there argument.
So like my favorite comedian Jeff foxworthy I have come up with a short list of ways you can identify others that feel the way you do.

If you don't like the direction our government is taking this country. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you bought a house you can afford and don't need or want the government to pay your mortgage or bail you out. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you think the Government should spend less money instead of charging more tax. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you ever disagree with any thing Obama says. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist

If you think Joe Biden is a dip shit or Nancey polsi uses to much BoTox. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you ever watched Glenn Beck and he said something that made sense to you. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist

If you are concerned about the debt the government is incurring and how our children will be burdened with it. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you use the term Illegal alien and not undocumented worker. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you don't have an irrational hatred towards Sara Palin Because... well just because you just hate her. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you are more concerned about Middle Eastern terrorists then you are Tea party attendees, Returning veterans, Conservative groups or opponents of abortion or illegal immigration. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you own a Gun or think its OK to own a gun or you have ever owned a Gun. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If it creeps you out that they have our children singing praise to Obama in our Schools. You may be a Tea bagging angry mob Red neck racist.

If you think Americans of all Backgrounds, ethnic groups and religions can join together and speak in one unified voice to take are country back and save it from financial ruin and the control of special interests. If you think we can Make our country great again to give our children a better life and preserve the American dream the way our forefathers intended for all future generations.
Then call us anything you want. But I call us true Americans who love our country.
