A Christmas to be thankful for

This past year has been tough for a lot of people.
I have been relativity fortunate.
Many of my colleagues and friends have not been so fortunate.
Nearly everyone in my circle of friends and family is voluntarily or involuntarily cutting back on spending this year.
With that in mind we decided to take the focus off of gift giving and instead put it on family, a good meal, celebration and giving thanks for what we do have knowing that there are many others less fortunate.
The result was one of the best Christmas celebrations in recent memory.
I write this because sometimes we forget what Christmas is really about.
